How to create a custom connector with input parameters

posted in: 365 Viking 0

Recently I helped a client to create a custom connector that has one or more input parameters. The way I find simplest is to create the interface definition from a URL example where each input parameter is listed inside curly-brackets “{PARAMETERNAME}”.

An example URL could be “https://myincreadibleapi.com/interface/{UserId}{UserName}{Email}” and when you select to import this example the definition looks like the following screenshot. When using this URL when importing from an example will create three parameters for these connectors.

  • UserID
  • UserName
  • Email
